Brand Identity and Marketing Strategy & Execution
The Brownstone Wedding & Event Venue
Fusing the perfect touches of rustic elegance with the conveniences of modern accommodations, The Brownstone is a premier, one-of-a-kind wedding and event venue in Topeka, Kansas. When Connie and Steve Brown embarked on a journey to renovate a historical 90-year-old barn in Topeka, Kansas, they partnered with SEGC to create a standout brand. We began developing a brand identity inspired by “rustic elegance.” From there, we created a website, photography and visuals and collateral marketing materials.
Our strategic marketing efforts resulted in The Brownstone being booked every weekend for two years by their grand opening date.
Logo design
Inspired by the rustic historical structure of the barn and classic, timeless elegance. From the colors, style, font and artistic outline of the barn, the Brownstone logo was the foundation to building the “rustic elegant” brand.
Website Design
The Brownstone’s responsive website design creates an experience for users to discover all that The Brownstone has to offer for their special day. Featuring strong photography and whitespace, the website was built with user experience in mind.
Video Production
Signage Design
For The Brownstone signage, we kept the design elegant and timeless to create the perfect welcome for The Brownstone guests.
Social Media Content Creation and Management
Before The Brownstone’s Grand Opening we built up their social media presence to over 1.3k fans just on Facebook. Part of The Brownstone’s social media strategy was to take the community on a journey through the renovation of the historic barn. Through photography and video we connected with people to show the extensive renovation and restoration of the barn to create The Brownstone.
Brand Identity Graphic Design
The Brownstone’s printed brand materials were designed to be classic and timeless. We featured the Brownstone’s signature brick red color paired with stunning photography.
